Sanctuary for the Lonely

Title: Sanctuary for the Lonely
Description: You dip your feet over the edge of a floating island into the clouds. You feel the cool water droplets gently tickle your toes as a warm mist from a nearby floating river caresses your cheeks. You fill your lungs with the sweet and subtle fragrance of lavender from a nearby meadow. You feel the warmth of your two new friends as they embrace you in a tight and wholehearted group hug. You try to take in as much of this moment, this beautiful, yet fleeting, genuine happiness. You hang on to your friends’ arms right until the very moment the island crumbles beneath you. Next thing you know, you find yourself right back in your empty bedroom, lonely and listless.
